How To Make Black Work for Your Wedding

Black is traditionally seen as a negative, serious and dare we say..... associated with funerals, kind of colour.

But not anymore.

At Creative Cover Hire HQ, CCH HQ for short !!, we have seen a rise in the number of brides and grooms requesting black as part of their colour scheme, so in response to this we thought we would show what we have done with the colour black, and how, if done correctly, it can make a venue look very pretty and sophisticated.

This picture shows a black organza hooded bow, with a turquoise detail in the centre.... very eye catching in a subtle way, below is the same colour scheme, but showing you the over all effect on the room.

This close up of our black sateen hooded bow style, shows that even without a splash of colour, black can still look soft and pretty

And above is the full effect of the room at the Great Hall at Mains venue.

Now, if you really want to add the wow factor to your wedding venue, how about a splash of colour using hot pink and orange, this wedding that we dressed at Farrington Lodge used napkins and flowers to add the colour to black linen and chair sashes.

And just in case you are left in any doubt about black - take a look at this picture ...

I am sure you will agree with us, when we say black can look just as good as a wedding colour, than the more traditional options. Embrace the Black !!
