Ideas for Table Draping.

Table draping brings together the whole look of a room. Whether your having the top table draped or the cake and registrar table, draping enhances your colour scheme and ties in with your chosen style.

In the above picture, an ivory damask slip cloth was used with four ivory sateen bows with added pearl detail on all four corners, the effect was simple but stunning. (At Beeston Manor)

The registrar's table is just as important to dress as the top table, here at Browsholme Hall a cappuccino draping was used to accentuate the table and bring in the chosen chair sash colour.

And how about this for a WOW factor to your top table drape - Hot pink and ivory voile draping with fairy lights. (At Farington Lodge)

Below is a collection of various table drapes to show what can be achieved with draping.

Accessories and Accessorising

So, you have decided on having chair covers, you have decided on your colour scheme.. but something is missing.

Accessories!

Here at Creative Cover Hire we have many creative people working on new ideas, and ideas specifically requested by our brides.
Accessorising chair sashes is becoming very popular, below are a few ideas that we have worked on recently.
.

The Starfish centre piece is placed in the middle of a ruched bow.

This pearl detail sets off the navy blue organza

When having draping in your venue, it may be worth considering what extra touches you could use to tie in with either your colour scheme or any special details.

This bow and pearl heart detail, can be used either on draping and top table draping or as a pew end on a chair, if having a civil ceremony.

Our recent new addition to accessories is our beautiful handmade organza flower, we have designed this to be able to be used as shown, as a detail on the chair sash, or it can also be used on the top table or cake table draping. As well as the organza material, we have also used a small circle pearl detail to add a touch of luxury.

Napkins are an ideal way to accessorise:

The pearl cluster detail with the ivory lace ribbon - gives this napkin tie a subtle and sophisticated look.

Lace and a heart shaped diamonte buckle placed on a cadbury purple coloured ribbon, brought the whole theme of this wedding together.

We also used these napkins as hand made place names.

Jubilee Special

Here at CCH HQ, we were very excited to be involved in lots of Jubilee themed events and weddings over the Jubilee weekend.

The red, white and blue themes created were amazing.

One of the events we dressed was The Clifton Arms in Lytham, the event was a Jubilee dinner and the organisers opted for red and blue lame with white lycra chair covers.

Our team of creative venue dressers, designed the chair sashes in such a way, that the red sash, sat on top of the blue sash and when looked at from the back a red and blue rosette was formed, to give that extra touch of regal decoration.

With the venues added bunting and Union Jack napkins, the flags were flying high for this special Jubilee dinner.

We also dressed an awards dinner at the Queens Hotel in Leeds, again the red and blue lame sashes were used to create rosettes.

The over all effect was stunning, the whole room was a regal salute to the Queens Jubilee.

Of course not everyone wanted to go all out with the red and blue colours, instead we dressed one wedding with a subtle nod to the celebrations by using royal blue.

The royal blue sateen used at Stanley House, gave the room a luxurious feel, without being too overwhelming.

Here at The Great Hall at Mains a shade of purple was used ( Aubergine) which enhanced the ivory voile draping's. The sashes were tied in a hooded bow.

At Singleton Lodge, aubergine was again used, this time the bows on the end pews were tied to the side.

As you can see from the pictures above, we had a great time over the Jubilee weekend, and we hope you did too.
