Aisle Carpets - adding that touch of glamour.

Almost every lady has dreamt of walking down the red carpet in a beautiful dress at some point in her life. It will almost certainly never happen (Sorry).

But, if you are getting married then we have the next best thing, an aisle carpet.

Historically aisle carpets were used after all the guests had been seated, ushers would then roll out the carpet, to preserve the purity of the bride and her dress.
Even further back in history, the aisle carpet was used to ward off evil spirits, who were thought to be able to rise from the floorboards of the church.

Aisle carpets are a fabulous way of enhancing your venue, whilst also providing the bride with a beautiful walkway, that can be styled by incorporating your own ideas and themes.

Below we have selected some of the aisle carpet designs that we have done, to give you an idea of   what can be achieved.

For this ceremony, we used the muted colour scheme to highlight the aisle carpet by creating a wave of fallen petals on the carpet itself. Also notice the use of lanterns on the fire place.

We made a feature out of the aisle carpet for this ceremony at Farrington Lodge, again using the original colour scheme idea, we created the wave and heart to co-ordinate the room whilst also providing a touch of romance.

At Mitton Hall we not only used petals along the side of the aisle carpet, but we also used aisle draping.

Again, another example of using the carpet to make a subtle addition to a room, although the added addition of the lighted dance floor does add a fantastic touch.

So as you can see, aisle carpeting can be used to enhance your venue either in a dramatic way or to provide subtle glamour.
